Mini Squash is designed for the young squash player. Starting from as young as three years of age through to eleven years of age. It is designed around fun and simple games in the early stages progressing to learning all the different shots played in squash and learning to play rallies and competitive games.
Early stage games are based on the ABC's of early learning. This is Agility, Balance and Co-ordination which slowly progress to developing the skills required for playing squash.
The equipment used is designed for the small player using smaller rackets and larger and bouncier balls to bring on the hand to eye co-ordination required.
Using portable rebound walls or just the walls in a gym or hall mini squash can be taken into schools and clubs. This is often an afterschools club but can also be part of the PT/sports class.
If you are involved with a school or club and think you would be interested please contact us and we will be pleased to come and discuss it with you.
